Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient-focused care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate care with other departments, and protect patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold or obtain an active RN license in Missouri or compact state, and maintain BLS certification with additional unit-specific credentials as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• Active RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Protects patient rights and confidentiality of information in accordance with Mercy Standards.
