Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO seeks a compassionate Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team. You’ll collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses to deliver safe, high-quality CVOR care for cardiac and vascular procedures.

Requirements include a BSN, Colorado RN license (or compact), BLS, and 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing. We offer education reimbursement up to $5,250 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Cardiothoracic nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• ACLs/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.
• BSN from an accredited program is required.
• Colorado RN license or compact license must be held.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with patient and family well-being in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
