Job summary

Openwork Health in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a cardiovascular surgical team. You will support surgeons and anesthesiologists, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality care throughout the surgical process in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• CVOR or cardiovascular surgical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative best practices.
• Strong communication within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the cardiovascular operating room for procedures with equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery and document findings.
• Assist surgeons with instruments and maintain a sterile field.
• Respond to patient condition changes and support postoperative care.
• Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
• Engage in ongoing CVOR-specific training and development.
