Baylor The Heart Hospital Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room. This fast-paced unit supports vascular and minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery, with shifts 7a-7p and a three-12-hour shift pattern.

The role requires 1+ year OR RN experience, scrub capability preferred, and opportunities for leadership development; orientation is Monday–Friday during the first week, with weekend call and potential for future full-time placement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year OR RN experience, prefer scrub capability
• Experience in cardiac or vascular OR highly preferred
• BSN and specialty certification common in the unit

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care in vascular and cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons and techs to ensure patient safety
• Assist in scrubbing and intraoperative patient management
