TalentBurst is seeking an RN for CVOR at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. The role requires scrubbing for cardiovascular procedures and providing perioperative nursing care.

You will work a day shift with 4 ten-hour days, participate in call rotations and holiday coverage, and join a collaborative operating room team including surgeons and anesthesia providers. Onsite contract opportunities start 11/17/2026 for 13 weeks.

Competenze

• Must be able to scrub for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR team members.

Mansioni

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Scrub for CVOR cases and support the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow surgical asepsis and infection-control protocols.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for cardiovascular cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other operating room team members.
• Participate in the required call rotation, including weekday call and one weekend every four weeks.
• Fulfill the required winter and summer holiday coverage.
