Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN for CVOR at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. The role requires scrubbing for cardiovascular procedures and providing perioperative nursing care.

You will work a day shift with 4 ten-hour days, participate in call rotations and holiday coverage, and join a collaborative operating room team including surgeons and anesthesia providers. Onsite contract opportunities start 11/17/2026 for 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Maintain a sterile field and follow surgical asepsis and infection-control protocols.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for cardiovascular cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other operating room team members.
• Participate in the required call rotation, including weekday call and one weekend every four weeks.
• Fulfill the required winter and summer holiday coverage.

Location: Newark, Delaware (DE)

Unit: Operating Room – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4*10 - Day Shift)

Holiday Requirement: 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday

Call Requirement: 1–2 call shifts per week

Required Certifications: None specified

Special Requirement: Must be able to scrub for cardiovascular surgical procedures
