Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks an RN for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. The nurse will support surgical services, ensure sterility, prepare equipment and medications, and advocate for patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

The CVOR RN will assist with sedation, monitor vital signs, apply dressings, and coordinate operating room activities to maintain sterility and readiness of supplies.

Competenze

• Active RN licensure in Florida
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1–2 years operating room nursing experience
• Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams

Mansioni

• Provide patient care using the nursing process in the CVOR
• Supervise supportive personnel and coordinate care with ancillary services
• Engage patients and families in developing an individual plan of care
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans
• Coordinate and prepare assigned operating room/case
• Assess patient care needs and anticipate the needs of the case
• Circulate, scrub, and assist on cardiothoracic and vascular procedures
