Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a CVOR RN for an in-office assignment in Tuscaloosa, AL. The role requires circulating in the CVOR, floating to other units as needed, and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Circulate CVOR cases and ensure patient safety.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Coordinate with OR staff to maintain standards of care and documentation.
• Support nursing leadership by delegating tasks and guiding team members.

Position Description

Travel: CVOR RN

Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Shift is 5x8 40 hours weekly. Must Circulate.

HOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.

Plans, coordinates and directs quality, compassionate care by maintaining standards of professional nursing practice and creating positive therapeutic relationships with patients/families. Provides leadership to other team members by articulating and delegating expected standards of care, supervising and encouraging team members, and supporting their contributions. Supervises LPNs, PCAs, PCAs/US, US, Ortho Techs and other non-licensed staff.

Education - Required

• Associated degree in nursing

Certifications – Required

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• OR RED CROSS

Licenses – Required

• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or Compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)
• NURSYS

Experience - Required

• 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of RECENT experience in the field of specialty.
