Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL, seeks a Cardiovascular Operating Room Charge RN to lead a subspecialty surgical team and ensure high-quality patient care in the operating room.

You will act as a professional role model, mentor staff, and be accountable for practice standards and unit performance. Minimum 2 years RN experience with strong CVOR background is preferred; board running experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Strong preference for at least 2 years CVOR RN experience.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Board running experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients using effective managerial skills.
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Responsible for professional accountability and development per best practice standards.
• Acts as a mentor and resource, sharing institutional information with the team.
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
