Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior CVN C5I Modernization Specialist, contingent for the Norfolk, VA area. You will support CNAL’s Future Readiness Office by applying Combat Systems engineering principles to HAB/EQOL/ALRE/AVFuels/HM&E modernization on U.S. Navy carriers.

The role requires a decade of direct carrier experience, a current active clearance, and strong analytical/communication skills. Travel ~25% and working in a fast-paced defense environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required to be considered.
• HS Diploma required.
• 10+ years' experience with HAB/EQOL/ALRE/Aviation Fuels/HM&E on aircraft carriers.
• Proficient in Navy Data Environment (NDE) for Ship Change Documents (SCD).
• Experience editing/creating HAB/EQOL/ALRE/SCD documents.
• Experience developing carrier HAB/EQOL/ALRE/HM&E systems plans.
• Strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and time management; adaptable in fast-paced environments.
• Travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Modernization Engineer on HAB/EQOL/ALRE/AVFUELS/HM&E modernization issues.
• Assist in developing carrier design and modernization plans related to HM&E systems.
• Assess HM&E SCDs for technical merit and ship integration issues.
• Assess fielding plans and CBAs for HM&E SCDs.
• Coordinate with N433 on ALRE/aviation fuels modernization requirements.
• Attend meetings to develop future readiness and modernization requirements.
• Provide fleet perspectives to HM&E aspects of carrier design, new construction, and RCOH.
• Coordinate issues with COMNAVAIRLANT/COMNAVAIRPAC staff and with manufacturers, yards, and fleet agents.
• Coordinate EQOL, ALRE, AVFuels and HM&E modernization issues with N82 CVN Requirements Office.
• Bid and proposal support if requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
