Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. seeks a CVN C5I Modernization Specialist to support CNAL capabilities aboard U.S. Navy aircraft carriers. You will serve as Modernization Manager for In-Service, RCOH, and New Construction Carrier programs, ensuring C5I integration and modernization planning.

The role requires deep C5I expertise and collaboration with staff, shipyards, and fleet agents. Occasional travel is expected; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required to be considered.
• HS Diploma required.
• 10+ years’ experience with C5I on aircraft carriers through direct ops or modernization efforts.
• 10+ years’ experience accessing Navy Data Environment (NDE) for Ship Change Documents (SCD).
• 10+ years’ experience reviewing/creating C5I Ship Change Documents (SCD).
• 10+ years’ experience developing aircraft carrier design and modernization plans related to C5I systems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel required ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Aircraft Carrier design and modernization plans for C5I systems.
• Gather and evaluate technical information for carrier systems and monitor alterations for new capability and reliability.
• Analyze Ship Change Documents in Navy Data Environment prior to entry into the NDE process.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses to determine ROI and payback for Ship change documents.
• Attend meetings with the Modernization Engineer/Manager and coordinate with CNAL staff and shipyards.
• Draft standard naval messages and provide briefs and data in MS Office.
• Interface with Navy staff, labs, and industry partners on design changes.
• Provide bid and proposal support if requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
