Amgen Inc. seeks an Asset Medical Lead Medical Director for Cardiovascular & Metabolic (CVM) Strategy in Thousand Oaks, CA.

You will shape the US CVM medical plan, translating global strategy into local execution and aligning with cross‑functional partners to support launch readiness for obesity‑related therapies. Qualifications include a Doctorate with clinical research or cardiometabolic expertise, plus experience in Medical Affairs with cardiologists and payers.

Qualificações

• PharmD, PhD, MD or equivalent in cardiometabolic disease.
• Experience in US Medical Affairs with cardiologists and payers.
• Experience launching medical strategy and evidence plans (RWE/HEOR).
• Knowledge of product development, lifecycle planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication and leadership to influence without direct authority.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and delivery of US CVM Medical strategy for obesity-related therapy.
• Define evidence gaps and prioritize RWE, HEOR, access-evidence.
• Synthesize insights to inform US Medical, Brand, and implementation decisions.
• Develop external-engagement plans with cardiologists, specialists, payers, and networks.
• Contribute to medical training and field scientific readiness for evolving CVM evidence needs.
