Zusammenfassung

Albany Medical Center's Cardiac Catheterization Lab is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist II (CVIT II) to independently perform cardiovascular imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualified candidates will have radiologic tech credentials, NYS licensure, ARRT, and at least one year of cardiac cath or related procedural imaging experience, with opportunity for advancement within the Medical Imaging Technologist career path.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• One year of cardiac catheterization or interventional imaging experience.
• ARRT certification must be obtained within the timeframe for New York State licensure.
• Licensed NYS Radiologic Technologist or eligibility for licensure.
• NYS Contrast Injection Certification within 180 days.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS within 180 days; PALS preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of fluoroscopic imaging and radiation safety.

Aufgaben

• Functions independently in core responsibilities of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory after competency validation.
• Provide cardiovascular imaging support and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures under physician supervision.
• Assist with equipment and supply management and sterile technique.
• Maintain documentation in Epic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support emergent cardiovascular care.
• Provide radiologic expertise and dose optimization.
