Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a CVI Technologist to assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique. You will support physicians, manage imaging equipment, and monitor patients throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate has a radiologic or cardiovascular technology background, ARRT/RCIS certification, active state licensure, and BLS (ACLS preferred). Prior CVI or IR lab experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Certification such as ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent preferred/required.
• Active state license/registration as required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Previous Cardiac Cath Lab, CVI, or Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the procedure room, equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Assist physicians during cardiac cath and interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate and monitor imaging and procedural equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation/infection-control standards.
• Monitor patients and assist with emergencies.
• Perform equipment checks and document procedures.
