Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Hybrid OR. This role emphasizes patient care, equipment operation, and data accuracy within a Magnet-recognized system.

Qualifications include an associate/bachelor’s in health science (or equivalent with a cardiovascular tech certificate), with RCIS/RCES/ARRT-type credentials and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate or bachelor’s program in health science.
• Or graduate in another field with a cardiovascular technology/ultrasound/radiology/respiratory certificate.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT etc certification within 36 months; BLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in CathLab, EP Lab, and Hybrid OR.
• Operate and troubleshoot invasive lab equipment.
• Prepare daily procedure room and manage supplies.
• Document and verify data for patient records.
• Support performance improvement and staff development.
