Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular imaging team. You will support procedures across Cath Lab, EP, and IR settings, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Required credentials include RCIS/RCES or ARRT CV, along with BLS/ACLS and a health science degree with cardiovascular tech training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an associate or bachelor’s program in health science or related field.
• Or graduate from an unrelated field with a certificate in cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiology or respiratory therapy.
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• RCIS/RCES/ARRT CV certifications; BLS/ACLS required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Cath Lab, EP Lab and IR settings.
• Assist physicians during invasive and noninvasive procedures.
• Maintain high standards for quality patient care and safety.
• Prepare sterile fields and equipment for procedures.
• Document patient data in EHR and imaging systems.
• Ensure equipment readiness and room readiness for procedures.
