Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine at Suburban Hospital is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology/Cardiology technician. You will assist the interventional team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while maintaining familiarity with all monitoring devices and equipment.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program, CPR, and state licensure or ARRT registry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Current ARRT registry, Maryland licensure as Radiologic Tech or RCIS or RCES certification.
• Vascular Interventional Radiography or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification preferred.
• CPR Certification

General Summary:

• Assists Interventionalist and team with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all equipment components, including patient monitoring devices

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain licensure and/or certification.
• Current ARRT registry, Maryland licensure as Radiologic Tech or RCIS or RCES certification.
• Vascular Interventional Radiography or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification preferred.
• CPR Certification
• Minimum of one year Interventional Cardiology or Interventional Radiology experience!

Shift:

7:00 AM - 5:30 PM; (4) 10 hour shifts per week. Call is required.

Salary Range:

Minimum 46.48/hour - Maximum 76.64/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
