Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a CVIR Technologist PRN, responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac and Radiology areas. With a minimum pay rate of $64.00 per hour, this role emphasizes safety and ongoing education in a diverse, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Current ARRT registry is required.
• One year of Cardiology or Radiology experience preferred.

Job Summary: The CVIR Technologist PRN will:

• Performs special diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac and Radiology areas, including interventional angiographic procedures, interventional diagnostic procedures, and minor cardiac procedures.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all equipment components, including patient monitoring devices
• Maintains emergency equipment and procedure trays within the assigned CVIR department. Maintains adequate stock levels of required supplies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
• Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain licensure and/or certification.

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:

• Current ARRT registry is required.
• Vascular Interventional Radiography or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification preferred.
• BCLS CPR certification

Work Experience:

• One year Cardiology or Radiology experience preferred.
• Will provide training and orientation in department.

Shift: PRN, Day Shifts. Call varies based on departmental needs.

Salary Range: Minimum 64.00/hour - Maximum 64.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
