Job summary
Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Homewood, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time Baylor role in the CVICU, Saturdays and Sundays, 7am-7pm, to deliver expert patient care in a high-acuity setting. The RN will assess needs, develop and revise individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining regulatory standards and patient safety.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Maintains current State of Alabama RN license.
- Maintains BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC are required for NICU areas.
- 1 year experience required unless AVP level approval; New Graduate RNs may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient’s needs and develops a care plan.
- Respects diversity and collaborates with team.
- Functions as a patient and family advocate.
- Delivers care appropriate to the patient’s age group.
- Documents patient care meeting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains professional development and supports nursing leadership.
