Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CVICU in Arlington, VA. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, supervision of assigned staff, and strict adherence to hospital policies to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The RN must hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing and be licensed in Virginia (or compact state). A year of acute care experience and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications are welcomed for unit competency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Nursing required.
• One year of Nursing/Patient Care in an acute care setting required.
• Licensed RN by Virginia DHP or compact state licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or equivalent may be required for designated units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients.
• Supervise licensed and unlicensed personnel on the unit.
• Adhere to department and hospital policies and procedures.
• Communicate and document patient information clearly and timely.
