Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's CVICU unit at St. Francis Downtown is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care during the 7pm-7:30am shift. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for 1 year of prior RN experience.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, care planning, and evidence-based interventions for critically ill patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop and execute care plans, administer medications safely, and adapt to changing patient

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience (required).
• 6 months RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire); ACLS required within 6 months; PALS preferred at hire or required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for pediatric units.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessment, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Synthesize and prioritize information to take immediate, evidence-based patient-focused action.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence.
• Administer medications safely according to policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
