Job summary

Workster is seeking an RN for CVICU to join a high-acuity Cardio Vascular Intensive Care Unit. The role involves caring for critically ill patients post-surgery or with life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CVICU-related experience, hold a current RN license in the state, and demonstrate strong critical thinking and teamwork. Night and day shifts available with a 1:1 patient ratio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications as required by the facility.
• Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant direct attention to patients under care.
• Deliver high-quality patient care according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients, assess needs, and ensure stability.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for reactions.
• Educate patients and families; document progress; collaborate with team.
• Develop personalized care plans with physicians and nurses.
• Foster a compassionate environment and assist in discharge planning.
