Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle within established policies and procedures. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating activities of the nursing team to ensure quality outcomes.

Requirements include a nursing degree (RN) with Georgia licensure, BCLS, and applicable specialty certifications as outlined in the addendum; prior hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia and/or multistate licensure current in Georgia as a Registered Nurse (Required)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting

1 year in hospital setting for PRN

Education

Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
