Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using established nursing processes while adhering to hospital policies and maintaining high standards of practice.

Requirements include a Georgia RN license, BCLS certification, and a willingness to pursue unit-specific ACLS/PALS as applicable. New graduates are welcome, with hospital experience preferred for certain shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• GA RN license required (GA State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure).
• BCLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible to apply; no prior experience required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred; 1 year in hospital for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Functions within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

Education
