Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle. The role follows the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies.

The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in Georgia, have BCLS, and may possess an advanced specialty certification. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred, with new graduates eligible to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required; BCLS required; advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.

Education
