Job summary

Baptist Medical Center South is launching a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) pathway for experienced acute-care nurses transitioning to ICU roles. The program provides structured clinical development, hands-on training, and collaboration with ICU/CVICU teams to build cardiovascular nursing expertise.

Participants will begin training in early 2027 and continue through the Fall 2027 opening, with opportunities to join the CVICU team at Baptist South.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current RN license in Florida.
• BLS required; ACLS within program timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Develop critical-care competencies through Baptist Health's ICU Intensive Program.
• Complete clinical training and immersion at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.
• Transition to Baptist Medical Center South as CVICU opens in Fall 2027.
