Job summary

Baptist Health's Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville is launching a new 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and an Open Heart Surgery Program in Fall 2027, and seeks motivated Registered Nurses to join the cardiovascular critical-care development path.

No ICU experience is required; the program provides an intensive, structured clinical-development pathway, with training alongside experienced critical-care nurses and a pathway to join the new CVICU team at Baptist South.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within the ICU Intensive/CVICU Development Program timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Baptist Health's ICU Intensive/CVICU Development Program.
• Complete clinical training and immersion at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.
• Train alongside experienced ICU and CVICU nurses.
• Transition to Baptist Medical Center South as a founding CVICU team member for the Fall 2027 opening.
