Formación

• Requires clinical competency in CVICU
• Excellent physical assessment skills required
• Experience in critical care settings preferred
• Completion of EKG course required
• CVICU experience or CVICU course completion preferred
• Strong sensory awareness to detect changes in patient condition
• Ability to work in fast-paced, stressful environments
• Good teamwork and communication with staff

Responsabilidades

• Deliver advanced professional and technical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in CVICU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations
• Plan, supervise and instruct nursing assistants and secretaries
• Incorporate critical thinking and modify care plans based on patient outcomes
• Participate in performance improvement activities to maintain quality of care
