Job summary

Asante is seeking a CNA/Unit Secretary on the 3rd shift (nights) in Medford, Oregon. The role combines nursing unit clerical duties with patient-focused transcription and information flow, supervised by an RN. Expect responsibilities that support patient safety, satisfaction, and seamless unit operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology gained through education or experience in a healthcare setting.
• Previous CNA and/or clerical experience required.
• CNA certification by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon start.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical, receptionist, and administrative support functions for the nursing unit.
• Facilitate workflow and transcription of physician orders under RN supervision.
• Promote patient safety and comfort and participate in patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrate responsive observations knowledge in care practices.
• Provide excellent communication between staff and patients/customers.
