Job summary

Kaweah Health seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for the CVICU unit in Visalia, CA. This full‑time night‑shift role supports essential patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including ADL assistance, vital signs, and careful documentation in the EMR.

You must hold a CA CNA license and HeartSaver AED, with crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire. Night shifts and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• HeartSaver AED certification.
• Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Reports any variance in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Requests assistance as needed and communicates patient needs to staff.
• Responds to patient call lights within two minutes as assigned.
• Greets patients and families politely and identifies self by name and role.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy in all care activities.
• Documents all care provided in the EMR promptly.
• Assists with ADL, meals, and mobility under RN supervision.
• Performs unit secretary tasks and cross‑department duties as assigned.
