Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Float Pool. This full-time role covers day and night shifts across multiple units, under RN supervision to provide holistic patient care.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor patients, and document care in the EMR while floating as needed across the district. The position requires CA CNA certification, HeartSaver AED, and crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• HeartSaver AED certification required or Kaweah Health approved.
• Crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to licensed staff.
• Respond to patient call lights promptly and with professionalism.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and infection control policies.
• Document care in EMR promptly and accurately.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
