Job summary

Kaweah Delta is seeking a part-time Night RN for the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit in Visalia, CA. The role focuses on nursing diagnoses, treatment, and holistic patient care while leading the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a CA RN license with BLS and ACLS within one year of hire; BSN preferred. The nurse will advocate for patients and ensure ethical, confidential care across the unit.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN license required.
• BLS required; ACLS within one year of hire/transfer.
• BSN, MSN, or RN-BSN program in progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and diagnosis within CVICU scope.
• Lead interdisciplinary health care team to deliver holistic care.
• Act as patient advocate and ensure confidentiality and ethical care.
• Coordinate staffing, assignments, and shift reports to ensure unit efficiency.
• Collaborate with physicians and departments to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement studies and implement care improvements.
