Job summary

Havasu Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU Educator to lead cardiovascular education and staff development. The role focuses on onboarding, competency validation, and advancing clinical practice in a high-acuity CVICU setting.

You will partner with nursing leadership and physicians to build robust education programs, support quality improvement, and ensure regulatory readiness while promoting evidence-based care for critically ill cardiac patients.

Qualifications

Current Arizona RN license or Compact license with Arizona endorsement.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program is required.
Master's degree (MSN) is preferred for this educator role.

Responsibilities

Develops and evaluates CVICU onboarding programs and ongoing education.
Provides cardiovascular surgery and critical care education to staff.
Leads competency validation, simulations, and annual required trainings.
Collaborates with nursing leadership and physicians to improve outcomes and safety.
Supports policy development and regulatory readiness for cardiovascular services.
Mentors nurses, preceptors, and charge nurses in CVICU practices.
