Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking an experienced RN CV Specialist for the Critical Care CVICU. You will work as staff RN for shifts with Director approval, lead orientation, in-service training and continuing education for the unit, and support organization-wide educational initiatives.

You will coordinate curriculum for advanced cardiac topics and maintain competency-tracking records for VAD/ECMO/ECMO-related training. Strong clinical and teaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse.
• Registered Nurse Diploma.
• CCRN preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works as staff RN for shifts with Director approval.
• Responsible for orientation, in-service training and continuing education.
• Develops and delivers education programs across the CVICU.
• Maintains competency records for unit-based trainings and technologies.
