HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for our CVICU. You will provide expert clinical care in a high-acuity environment and collaborate with a supportive team dedicated to patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida Registered Nurse license or compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
