Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required.
• NRP by orientation end required in Women’s Services and related units.
• PALS if the unit serves pediatric patients; ACLS/PALS often required across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle and manages operational issues during the shift.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
• Leads care coordination and ensures safety and quality standards are met.
