Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a CVD Parts Conductor to oversee budget and spend in the CVD department, ensuring availability of hardware and consumables without overspending. You’ll analyze spending trends, present reports, and collaborate with Finance and Engineering to secure funding and improve cost efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, collaboration with equipment engineering, and ownership of our proprietary ordering system to manage parts and inventory inside

Qualifications

• Has substantial understanding on the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Normally receives little instruction on everyday work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
• Typically requires a minimum 3 years of related experience since TB1

Responsibilities

• Track spending for each work team in the spares, repair, and consumables categories.
• Audit all purchase requests to ensure proper stocking levels.
• Manage cost-saving projects to reduce departmental spend.
• Assist with vendor selection when purchasing items.
• Build systems to streamline cost tracking and material flow
