Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Taylor, TX is seeking a CVD Parts Conductor to manage budget, spares, repairs and consumables for the CVD department. You will collaborate with Finance and Engineering to forecast needs, secure funding and track spend against KPIs.

You will own the department's ordering and tracking system, audit purchase requests, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure material flow without stockouts or expiring parts. This is an on-site, full-time role at the Austin fab.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in fab operations or manufacturing.
• Ability to audit purchase requests to prevent overstocking or understocking.
• Experience with cost tracking and budgeting in a CVD environment.

Responsibilities

• Track spending for spares, repair, and consumables in the CVD dept.
• Collaborate with Engineering to forecast material needs and funding.
• Audit all purchase requests for appropriate stock levels.
• Lead cost-saving projects to reduce departmental spend.
• Set up and audit repair loops; explore alternative OEM sources.
• Collect expense data for monthly budget proposals.
• Manage parts in engineering test plans and vendor selections.
