Qualifications

  • BS or MS in an engineering or science discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in equipment engineering in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data and produce a timely action plan.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated; able to take initiative and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and reduce sources of variation.
  • Reduce machine faults.
  • Reduce defectivity.
  • Define and write tool maintenance procedures.
  • Improve tool availability, MTBF, MTTR.
  • Train technicians and peers.
  • Improve cost performance.
  • Specify, source and qualify new equipment and parts.
  • Participate on and/or lead cross functional teams.
  • Support development and transfer activities.
