City of Grapevine is seeking a on-site custodial and facilities assistant to maintain a clean, safe, guest-ready environment for meetings, festivals, and events. You will interact with staff, vendors and the public, delivering professional customer service and reliable maintenance.
Responsibilities include cleaning, set‑ups for events, basic AV assistance, and helping with catering support. The role requires physical work and availability for varied hours including evenings and weekends.
Responsible for cleaning, minor maintenance, meeting room setup, and event support across Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) facilities and venues to maintain a clean, safe, and guest-ready environment for meetings, festivals, and special events. This position regularly interacts with staff, vendors, and the public and requires professionalism and excellent customer service.
Minimum age of 18.
Ability to work weekday, evenings, weekends and some holiday hours as assigned for set‑ups and special events.
Must pass a Federal/National criminal background check and credit check. Must have a valid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record as defined by City policy.
Must pass a pre-employment basic physical, drug screen and functional assessment screening (Level 1).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This job requires the ability to work in an office environment where the noise level is usually moderate.
