Job summary

Atlantic Health seeks an allied health professional to assist physicians in invasive cardiology and radiology procedures. You will scrub, maintain sterile fields, monitor EKGs, and document activity in the interventional lab.

The role includes post-procedure vascular access care, device utilization, and equipment maintenance to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety. On-site, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a related allied health credential or certification.
• Proficiency in arterial/venous access and sterile technique.
• Experience interpreting basic EKGs and collaborating in a cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians to perform invasive cardiology and radiology procedures.
• Scrub and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Monitor and document procedures in the interventional lab.
• Perform post-procedure care and vascular access site management.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain supply inventory and support site-specific duties.

Job description

Responsible for assisting physicians to perform invasive cardiology and
radiology procedures; scrubbing and maintaining sterile field; monitoring and
documenting procedures in interventional procedural lab

Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation, documentation
during interventional procedures
Performs post procedure care and vascular access site management including arterial
and venous sheath removal and closure device utilization
Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on all equipment used
in lab, including imaging systems/fluoroscopy
Maintains supply inventory.
Other duties as assigned and vary within Atlantic Health site specific
