Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CV Invasive Specialist I at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver to support cardiac catheterization procedures. The role includes procedure room prep, data collection, and patient care under supervision with opportunities for growth.

The position offers a 4/10 schedule (10-hour days), on-call shifts, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus where applicable. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health science with six months of health care experience
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program
• Graduate of a diploma or associate program in health science with one year of health care experience
• Graduate of a non-programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology with 800 clinical hours
• Current license, where applicable

Responsibilities

• Participate in procedure room preparation and post procedure turn around.
• Develop knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies including documenting hemodynamic data.
• Provide patient education and emotional support for patients and families; ensure comfort.
• Develop knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology, pharmacology, and treatment options.
• Understand x-ray generation and safety; operate imaging equipment.
• May mix and administer medications under physician supervision.
• End-of-procedure closure, sheath management and hemostasis.
• Document procedures and events accurately.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot cath lab equipment; perform QA.
• Scrub, circulate, monitor in various procedures; data entry and imaging studies.
