Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, seeks a CV Invasive Specialist I to support cardiac catheterization procedures in a 4-lab environment. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cases, preparing rooms, and ensuring patient safety under supervision where needed.

You will work on a team with an RN and techs, perform post-procedure turnover, documentation in Epic, and maintain equipment while expanding your skills in a high‑quality, patient‑centered setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in health science with healthcare experience.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program.
• Graduate of a diploma or associate program in health science with 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Graduate of a non-programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology with 800 clinical hours.
• Surgical Tech/Assistant Certification per state requirements.

Mansioni

• Participate in procedure room preparation and post procedure turn around.
• Develop knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies; assist in inventory control and documentation.
• Provide patient education and emotional support for patients and families; ensure patient comfort.
• Develop knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology and treatments; document deviations and inform physician.
• Understand x-ray principles and operation of imaging equipment.
• May mix and administer medications under physician supervision.
• Apply closure devices and obtain hemostasis when needed.
• Document each procedure and events accurately.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment; perform point-of-care testing and QA.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor in various catheterization procedures; complete data entry and imaging.
