Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery preferred.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred, especially cable/wire.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safe operation of machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up extruder and equipment for cable production and perform routine maintenance.
• Load/unload materials and ensure correct strips to minimize tangling and errors.
• Monitor production specs and tolerances; adjust for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect cables for defects; coordinate with QA to address issues.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards to supervision.
• Maintain accurate production records and equipment status; submit reports.
• Troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and keep production running.
