Job summary

Mikron Tool is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive the cutting tool market in New England, covering CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, and VT. Implement sales strategy and manage customer and distribution networks for Standard and Special Tools.

You will travel extensively to visit customers, train partners, and provide expert technical support while leveraging your metallurgy and tooling knowledge. Strong communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cutting tool technology with metallurgy knowledge.
• Ability to read technical drawings and sketch ideas.
• Mechanical education with emphasis on engineering.
• Systematic and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales in CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT.
• Promote Standard and Special Tools to customers and partners.
• Visit existing and new customers and sales partners regularly.
• Train sales partners on Mikron Tool products and conduct seminars.
• Provide technical advice to customers and partners.
• Identify and acquire new customers in the assigned regions and product fields.
• Quote Special and Standard Tools for customers.
• Coordinate with Mikron Tool on technical questions and problem solving.
• Utilize CRM system for tracking activities.
