Job summary

Ricochet Manufacturing is hiring a Cutting Machine Operator to join our PPE production team in Philadelphia. You will operate Lectra/Gerber and other automated cutting machines, manage material usage, and support inventory control.

The role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and flexibility to meet production demands. The ideal candidate has experience with cutting machines, can interpret cutting patterns, and can work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating Lectra/Gerber or similar cutting machines preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret cutting patterns/work with online cutting software
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Lectra/Gerber cutting machines and other automated equipment to cut fabric and materials according to production specifications.
• Collaborate with other cutters and spreaders to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Record and monitor material usage; maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cutting equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Inspect cut materials for quality and accuracy before releasing to production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.

• Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required for machine operation and material inspection.
