Join the team at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino to support our restaurant by assisting servers, maintaining a clean, welcoming dining space, and ensuring guests have a smooth experience. The Server Assistant role is year-round, full-time, and pays $17.00 per hour.

You will work closely with servers, bartenders, and supervisors to deliver consistent hospitality during busy service periods. We value teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail, with opportunities for training

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Summary

The Server Assistant plays an essential role in supporting our restaurant team by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This fast-paced position works closely with Servers, Bartenders, and restaurant leadership to provide seamless service and exceptional hospitality.

The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist Servers with delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guests
• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas
• Refill water, replenish table settings, and anticipate guest needs throughout their dining experience
• Assist with food running and delivering items to tables as needed
• Stock and replenish service stations with silverware, glassware, linens, and other necessary supplies
• Communicate effectively with Servers, Bartenders, and kitchen colleagues to ensure timely service
• Support opening and closing duties, including restaurant setup and breakdown
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Assist restaurant leadership and fellow colleagues with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks during busy service periods
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to learn and support all aspects of restaurant operations
