Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Use practical skills and knowledge as a Cutter Grinder to manufacture and sharpen high precision cutting tools.
• Mark and identify tools according to shop standards.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet production requirements for re-sharpen cutters.
• Work with Production and Engineering on manufacturing custom cutters.
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions and print requirements.
• Sharpen or modify tools, milling cutters, drills, reamers, form tools, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery as required.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
