Job summary

CMU is seeking a Fish Cutter for our seafood operations in the United States. The role involves scaling, gutting, filleting, and packaging fish for restaurants and supermarkets, with strict adherence to HACCP and safety procedures.

You will also assist in inventories and warehouse tasks as needed, and must have a high school diploma or GED, TB clearance, and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Fish Cutter is responsible and is expected to be able to cut fish to all levels of production necessary Cutters must be able breakcut whole tuna and other various species down to fillet and poke specifications Experience is a must

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 1 Scales heads guts and fillets fish for restaurants and supermarkets
• 2 Wraps and packages fish for delivery or storage to both local and non local customers
• 3 Comply with the companys State and Federal guidelines and expectations regarding Food Safety HACCP and general Safety procedures
• 4 Assist in all of the fresh seafood monthly inventories
• 5 Assist in the warehouse as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1 High school diploma or GED
• 2 Current Tuberculosis clearance
• 3 Must be reliable and punctual
