Job summary

Pries Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Cutback Saw Operator for the 2nd shift. No experience required; on-the-job training will prepare you to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

Shift runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM with occasional Saturday work. Starting pay is up to $22.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement. Steel-toe footwear required and PPE reimbursement available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Steel-toe footwear required.
• PPE reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Verify material lengths, die profiles, and work orders using Epicor.
• Confirm cut tolerances and ensure specifications are met.
• Inspect material for defects and burrs after cutting; identify and remove defective material.
• Set and adjust guides according to cutting specifications.
• Monitor saw stops, blades, lubrication systems, chip collectors, and chip barrels.
• Work with and provide direction to 1–2 team members to maintain production and quality standards.
• Ensure stacking equipment aligns material properly according to balance and safety standards.
• Create rack setups that protect material and prevent damage during handling and storage.
• Assist in coordinating proper packing and stacking procedures.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
